I’ve always led an active life, but after being seriously injured playing
highschool sports I started researching safe and effective training
practices. That decision led to me studying to become a kinesiologist at
James Madison University. After obtaining my bachelor’s (and completing a
practicum under a chiropractic doctor and an internship as the resident
personal trainer to the Dayton Va Police Department), I tested for and
obtained my ACSM Exercise Physiologist certification.
Ever since I’ve been steadily working as a fitness specialist and personal
trainer, finding unique solutions to any obstacles my clients may face. I’m
a firm believer in the Exercise is Medicine movement, and that anyone can
make progress and get success through the right combination of dedication
and science-backed lifestyle changes.
I’m a resident of Staunton, a small business owner, a full time stay at
home mom to my two littles, and I’m passionate about helping YOU be the
best version of yourself that you can be.
Bachelor of science from JMU, kinesiology/exercise science & leadership.
